artivism ~ renovation & deconstruction photography

Pretty sure what they

wanted

was pretty pictures

of finished products

and processes.

But I can’t see beauty

in that sort of shit.

Instead I see beauty,

in the oddities

in the intricacies

of peeled paint

and rugged

pieces.

My beauty

is in the mess.

The chaos that is being

re ordered.

The mundane objects

that are disregarded.

The light,

where there wasn’t any.

The reflections,

where there isn’t any.

I see the beauty

in the fringes.

In the over-looked

and forgotten.

I see beauty in the things

that most don’t.
