How about, how to make peace with it.

Or to utilize it for something else.

Cos it is literally part of me.

The angst comes from trying Not to be that & remove it.

  1. Exactly! Good old evasive maneuvers. Like deflecting the conversation to something you know they are obsessed with, like knowing when the footsteps are coming your way and being able to leave (always have two exits), like hearing ‘that tone’ in the voice and getting in trouble so you have to do chores and so are not free.
